ADx Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered in The Gambia also acting as a Community Based Organization (CBO) and a 501(c) (3) charitable organization registered in the United States (with Federal Tax ID: 83-3703913)  offering Laboratory ServicesHealthcare Training Services, Clinic and a Drugstore for wellness all under one roof. Training will be based on allied healthcare and public health  education. ADx Drugstore will provide source of offering communities health products and essential drugs.

The company’s core values center on five distinct areas: Quality, Professionalism, Integrity, Passion and Customer Service, which remain the guiding principles by which we will operate and form the basis of our corporate personality ways of improving health, economy and quality of life.

Secretary

Ms. Marie Beckley

Founder and CEO

Ms. Beckley, Founder and CEO of ADx holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Coventry UK, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Post Graduate Certificate from George Washington University, Washington DC and board certified in Hematology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In 2014, she became a Certified Quality Auditor through the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and became an AABB Inspector (American Association for Blood Banks) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) Assessor. Ms. Beckley worked in as a Research Assistant in Germany; as a Research Associate at George Washington University Medical Center for five years and as a Human Tissue Bank Manager at the Lombardi Cancer Center in Georgetown University Medical Center. She also worked as a Medical Technologist III at MedStar Health Washington Hospital Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Ms. Beckley has worked as a Quality Specialist in MedStar Health Corporate; National Institutes for Health (NIH) as a Hemovigilance Officer and presently as the Apheresis Quality Coordinator at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She is a Certified Lead Quality Auditor for International Standards ISO 9001 and ISO 15189.

Haddijatou Jarjusey

Secretary

Haddijatou Jarjusey obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma from Kansas City Community College, in the USA. She has more than 15 years of experience in the clinical healthcare industry. Ms. Jarjusey has worked in various healthcare settings, from geriatrics to rehabilitation nursing. She has work as a medical surgical nurse at Northside Hospital in Atlanta GA, and currently works at Inova Loudoun Hospital in Virginia as a nurse.

Matilda Goswell Njie

Financial Officer

Matilda Goswell Njie obtained BA in Business Management and License Practical Nurse. She has worked in various customer service management settings from Hotel hospitality, Telecommunications to Nursing. She has more than 10 years’ experience in the healthcare field and currently working as a Charge Nurse in rehabilitation Facility in Tennessee USA

Dr. Ancha Bala-Joof

Dr. Ancha Bala-Joof is a Clinical Director, responsible for overseeing and developing a team / group of Locum GP’s to ensure all facilities / clients have consistent and appropriate clinical services. She covers clinics in both rural and urban areas with list size ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 patients, providing expert health care service to patients with both acute, chronic and complex problems.

Dr. Lawrence Eseh

Dr. Lawrence Eseh is a physician with extensive experience in resource limited regions of the world like Central and West Africa. He has experience in the  diagnosis, treatment and management of diverse tropical diseases like malaria, typhoid, dysentery, diarrhea, malnutrition, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and upper respiratory tract infections etc.

He is also experienced in the management of HIV/AIDS patients in the monitoring of the efficacy of diverse cocktails in the treatment and management of subjects’ viral load levels, CD4 and diverse clinical indicators. He also heads clinical studies within regional health providers and diverse pharmaceutical industries in the introduction of new medications into the health system. He has been the charge person in diverse clinical trials related to psychotropic medications for the treatment of schizophrenia, major depression and bipolar disorder.

 

Ms. Muluka Abdullahi

Ms. Muluka Abdullahi has over 30 years’ of training and experience in the laboratory environment. She has worked as a Generalist Medical Technologist as well as a Blood Bank and Transfusion Medical Technologist for over 20 years. She performs pre and post analytical testing on all specimens including whole blood, plasma, serum and body fluids for routine, stat and specialized testing. She is a board-certified Medical Technologist by The American Society for Clinical Pathology America (ASCP).
